Hypocrisy or Concern?

Today, I was scrolling tweets on my mobile screen and I saw a tweet by one of the BJP leaders, Kapil Mishra. He tweeted on the stigma of racism and advised the US citizens, to protest against it, attack cops or stand against any stigma building roots in the country. He’s the same person who delivered the hate speech on February 23, 2020 which created massive destruction in the form of communal violence and riots in Delhi. The central govt. (BJP party) kept mum when the situation was destructive and creating havoc in the national capital of India. This is one of the examples amongst those brutal cases. There are plenty of such cases that create havoc in mob and in result give rise to riots, violence and lynching situations.

Many renowned personalities from the Bollywood Industry are also tweeting and posting about George Floyd demise by claiming that the action of police was shameful. They are the same person who didn’t stand up when our nation was burning in the fire of hate and riots. They are the same person who didn’t protest and showed any concern about the CAA/NRC act. They are the same person who never stood to take stance against the oppression of minorities in India. They never raise their voices when India experiences riots situation, communal violence, mob lynching and what not.

All these brutality keeps on creating destruction but people over here never speak against these things. They just want to follow trends to become popular or gain lime light and live upon the bloodshed of others. I’m not saying that commenting on the US racism case is wrong but isn’t it a social responsibility of an individual to speak against the brutality happening in their own nation?

Speaking against racism and not against destruction happening in one’s own country is what?

Is it concern or hypocrisy?
